Shelter Intervention Program

Through our shelter intervention program, we provide assistance to families facing the difficult reality of having no other option but to surrender their pet to the shelter. By covering the cost of veterinary care, pet deposits and reclaim fees, we are keeping pets in their loving homes. Services like these are both life-changing and life-saving, keeping families together.

Chino loves his family, especially the kids. One day while playing with them on the porch, the mailman came up and Chino reacted. Thinking he was protecting the kids, he bit the mailman. Chino had to serve a 10-day bite quarantine at the shelter. Chino’s mom didn’t have the money to pay the quarantine and housing fees so we paid the fees to make sure Chino went home with his family.
